I was one of many drivers heading east on the Churchill Roosevelt Highway at about 8 pm on the evening of last Thursday, when to my utter surprise and dismay I saw a turquoise blue/teal coloured Datsun 280C with a television set, approximately 17 inches, between the front and rear seats, playing...

The month of April has started and I can’t wait to see Commissioner Gibbs and Deputy Commissioner Etwaski tackle the loud music problem we are having in this country. Former Minister of Works and Transport Colm Imbert got legislation passed in Parliament.

I am extremely troubled by the spate of police killings reported in Trinidad and Tobago over the last few years especially within the last 12 months. I am not in a position to provide statistics but frequent newspaper reports of killings of citizens by police, is cause for alarm.  Surely there...

Congratulations are in order to India for its emphatic victory in the World Cup final in Mumbai. The team played extremely well during the entire tournament and is deserving of the trophy. West Indies need to emulate the way the Indians played throughout the tournament so they can return to the...

Manning’s deep concern and hurt over a photograph showing Donna Cox hugging the acting Prime Minister Jack Warner shows what type of a person he was as a Prime Minister, and how he is as a member of parliament. That burning concern of Manning shows what PNM principles dictated under him.

There is no need to rehash the happenings with respect to Mr Nizam Mohammed. The president has made a decision. However, there seems to be an issue that has escaped everyone as they concentrate their views on Mohammed.

The Indian cricket team did poorly at the last World Cup in the Caribbean. Their performance led to an uproar in India and I am told that the team had to delay their return to India by two weeks, until the furore died down.

T&T roads do not   encourage visitors It’s truly a shame to know there is a pitch lake on the island of Trinidad and the roads are in such deplorable condition.
