Overall market activity resulted from trading in seven securities of which three advanced, none declined and four traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 11,788 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $180,863.40. The Composite Index advanced by 1.00 points, or 0.10 per cent, to close at 1,012.98 while the All T&T Index advanced by 2.01 points, or 0.14 per cent, to close at 1,465.93. The Cross Listed Index remained at 70.14.

 

One Caribbean Media was the volume leader with 10,616 shares changing hands for a value of $127,392.00, followed by Scotiabank T&T with a volume of 450 shares being traded for $23,445. Neal & Massy Holdings contributed 400 shares with a value of $16,208, while GraceKennedy added 100 shares valued at $425. The West Indian Tobacco Company enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $1.05 to end the day at $63. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.11. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.29. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $62.25. The second tier market did not witness any activity. Mora Ven Holdings remained at $15.65.
