Overall market activity resulted from trading in 13 securities, of which nine advanced, one declined and three traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 168,600 shares crossing the floor of the stock exchange valued at $7,315,562.67. Neal and Massy Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 63,781 shares changing hands for a value of $2,933,902.16, followed by Republic Bank Ltd with a volume of 40,329 shares being traded for $3,831,255.00.

Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd contributed 16,642 shares with a value of $13,646.44, while Sagicor Financial Corporation added 15,000 shares valued at $112,480.00. Scotiabank T&T Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.25 to end the day at $54.00.

Conversely, Angostura Holdings Ltd suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.50 to end the day at $8.50. Neither the Mutual Fund Market, nor the Second Tier Market recorded any activity.
