130,000 FCIB shares traded

Overall market activity resulted from trading in six securities, of which one advanced, one declined and four traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 301,063 shares crossing the floor of the stock exchange valued at $1,951,394.06. The Composite Index declined by 0.01 points, or 0.00 per cent, to close at 1,010.80, while the All T&T Index advanced by 0.05 points, 0.00 per cent, to close at 1,500.46. The Cross Listed Index declined by 0.01 points, 0.02 per cent, to close at 65.91.  FirstCaribbean International Bank was the volume leader with 130,000 shares changing hands for a value of $1,106,300.00, followed by National Flour Mills with a volume of 100,000 shares being traded for $72,000.00. 
 
Guardian Holdings Ltd contributed 41,942 shares with a value of $593,479.30, while Sagicor Financial Corporation added 20,666 shares valued at $155,069.76. National Flour Mills enjoyed the day’s sole price increase, climbing $0.02 to end the day at $0.72. Conversely, Sagicor Financial Corporation suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.01 to end the day at $7.50. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.11. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.34. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $61.49. The second tier market did not witness any activity. Mora Ven Holdings remained at $15.65.
