Angostura declines by $0.30

Overall market activity resulted from trading in nine securities of which two advanced, one declined and six traded firm.
Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 444,535 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $4,042,716.82. The Composite Index declined by 0.61 points, or by 0.06 per cent, to close at 1,006.08, while the All T&T Index declined by 1.35 points, or 0.09 per cent, to close at 1,489.88. The Cross Listed Index advanced by 0.01 points, 0.02 per cent, to close at 65.99. 
 
 
Prestige Holdings Ltd was the volume leader with 302,696 shares changing hands for a value of $2,421,568.00, followed by Guardian Holdings Ltd with a volume of 100,523 shares being traded for $1,422,400.45. Supreme Ventures Ltd contributed 17,000 shares with a value of $2,380.00, while Sagicor Financial Corporation added 13,295 shares valued at $99,712.50.
 
 
Scotiabank T&T Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.01 to end the day at $55.12. Conversely, Angostura Holdings Ltd suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.30 to end the day at $8.20. The mutual fund market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.11. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.34. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $61.49. The second tier market did not witness any activity.  Mora Ven Holdings remained at $15.65.
