Unilever gains $0.66

Overall market activity resulted from trading in ten securities, of which seven advanced, one declined and  two traded firm. Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 71,444 shares crossing the floor of the stock exchange valued at $3,706,549.17.

 

 

ANSA McAL Ltd was the volume leader with 25,190 shares changing hands for a value of $1,440,868.00, followed by Guardian Holdings Ltd with a volume of 18,050 shares being traded for $255,965.00. Republic Bank Ltd contributed 17,467 shares with a value of $1,659,533.00, while Sagicor Financial Corporation added 5,013 shares valued at $37,898.28.

 

Unilever Caribbean Ltd enjoyed the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.66 to end the day at $35.33. Conversely, National Enterprises Ltd suffered the day’s sole decline, falling $0.14 to end the day at $13.80. The Mutual Fund Market did not record any activity. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund remained at $5.11. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at $3.34. Savinvest India Asia Fund remained at $61.49.
