ANSA McAL soars by $1

Overall market activity resulted from trading in seven securities of which three advanced, two declined and two traded firm. Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 20,605 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $364,269.34. Trinidad Cement Ltd was the volume leader with 11,300 shares changing hands for a value of $16,950.00, followed by ANSA McAL Ltd with a volume of 5,000 shares being traded for $305,000.
National Enterprises Ltd contributed 1,949 shares with a value of $25,350.50, while Sagicor Financial Corporation added 1,250 shares valued at $9,346.00. ANSA McAL Ltd enjoyed the day's largest gain, increasing $1 to end the day at $61. Conversely, Scotia Investments Jamaica Ltd suffered the day's greatest loss, falling $0.11 to close at $1.99.
