Overall market activity resulted from trading in 18 securities of which one advanced, eight declined and nine traded firm.
Trading activity on the first tier market registered a volume of 685,380 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $6,989,062.10.
NCB Financial Group was the volume leader with 537,154 shares changing hands for a value of $2,123,908.30, followed by ANSA McAL with a volume of 50,493 shares being traded for $3,357,786.50. Guardian Holdings Ltd contributed 34,915 shares with a value of $551,048.00, while National Flour Mills added 18,210 shares valued at $43,704.
Prestige Holdings Ltd enjoyed the day’s sole price increase, climbing $0.09 to end the day at $10.90. Conversely, ANSA McAL registered the day’s largest decline, falling $1.00 to close at $66.50.
Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the mutual fund market, posting a volume of 1,800 shares valued at $40,500. Clico Investment Fund declined by $0.01 to end at $22.50.
The Second Tier Market did not witness any activity.
