CARTER: A. SELWYN .Rev. (April 12, 1937-April 9 2012). Retired Pastor St James Wesleyan Holiness Church, died peacefully on Monday 9th April, 1:00am at the Port of Spain General Hospital after a brief illness. Known for his exemplary dedication and service to God, family, and community, Rev. Carter was the loving husband of Ismay Carter and beloved father of Alicia Carter-Fisher, Camille Carter, Cheryl Davis, Trudy Louison. Grandfather of nine Rev. Selwyn Carter is survived by his sisters Irma Carter (USA,) Patricia Hosford (Canada) and Ena Carter- Piggott (Trinidad,). Brother Hollis Carter also of (Canada). The late Rev. Carter was the uncle of nineteen, great uncle of twelve and great-great uncle of twelve.The ceremony in celebration of the life and work of Rev. Selwyn Carter takes place on Friday 20th April 2012. The remains of Rev S. Carter will repose at St James Wesleyan Holiness Church, 28 Upper Bournes Road St James from 10amnoon, thence St James Church of the Nazarene, Corner Angelina and Mooneram Streets, St. James for the Celebratory Home Going and Funeral Service beginning at 1pm. Committal to follow at the Mucurapo Cemetery in St James.
