This year’s Borough Day celebrations will definitely be sexier than in previous years. Last weekend Countrie Bookie Entertainment (CBE) continued its Welcome to South Beach Miami series with the unveiling of its seductive line for the May 5 Borough Day celebration. On April 13, the models of CBE created a stir in the Borough with a display of sexy swim suits, high-waist pants, rompers, tube tops and ribbed vest. The CBE team went bar hopping and distributed flyers while showing off the revealing costumes for their J’Ouvert band. As they posed for a number of photo shoots around the town, traffic backed up, with crowds gathering to get a preview of the beach collection.

On Sunday, the crew hosted the Miami Dade Rave at Club Rehab located at their Point Fortin Main Road headquarters. The exclusive event featured a display of South Beach bikinis, monokinis and tankinis. CBE event’s manager, Rick Davis, explained that the party gave potential players a taste of what the band was all about. “It’s all about fun and experiencing that excitement people get when they party on South Beach Miami. People wear bikinis and other swim wear in public already and it sticks to our theme. The concept is aimed at giving player a slice of South Beach, the sexiness you find there, the vibe associated with it, the non stop partying and the types of drinks you get there.” He announced that a contingent from New York was already set to revel with the band for the borough celebrations.

Also, he said, a number of special prizes to registered players would be given away each day of the final week of the celebrations. Davis disclosed that only two days after the rave, more than 200 people went to the mas’ camp to register to play.
“They are coming in tens and twenties and mostly women. They want a piece of the action and I know this year promises to be the biggest in the five years we have participated in the J’Ouvert celebrations.” The band is strictly premium all-inclusive and boasts off tight security and two fully loaded trucks, with music by Five Star Akil, Rapid Response, Digital Entertainment, Skky Maxx and Young Maddy from New York.
