Jason "Peanuts" Isaac meets Mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg after playing at a function.

You just can’t keep a great panman down. The man I am referring to is Jason “Peanuts” Isaac who will be appearing with a jazz quintet tomorrow night at The Sheraton, Brooklyn, New York, in a concert called Betty Blue. Jason has been going guns in America, spreading the gospel of pan, playing his unique brand of music at major events, rubbing shoulders with the big names in America.

He is best remembered for outstanding compositions like Pan Redemption and Ten Commandments of Pan. His CD—Peanut Punch—has also been highly rated by critics. This master composer, pannist and arranger has been blazing a trail with pan music, and was a hit at the last Panjazz in Tobago with Emmanuel “Cobo Jack” Riley and Ken “Professor” Philmore. Jason is hoping to play the local jazz circuit once again, and in the meantime is busy composing material for next year’s Panorama competition and Carnival.
