Senior Citizens honoured at Cosmos reunion.

Members of the Cosmos Community club met on April 21 at a special reunion function in honour of seven senior citizens within the Market Street/New Land community, who club members say made considerable contributions to their lives. The seven—Olive Toney, Vernon Joseph, Tangles Bellingy, Herman Harper, Pearl Mills, Gwendolyn William and Sally Job—were treated to dinner and entertainment from the steelpan band Fuscdat. They were also  presented with plaques. Committee member Ronnie “Buzz” Mill said they were recognised for their sterling contribution to the community and the organisation.  “Those people were like mothers and fathers of everybody,” Mills said. The reunion attracted people from all parts of Trinidad and the Caribbean.
