Doctors are human too

Thursday, March 17, 2011

I doubt very much that a doctor would wake up one day and decide that he/she will intentionally kill a patient that day, that he/she will purposely be careless and negligent. We hear over and over how doctors are rude and hoggish to patients (and this is unacceptable) but we never hear how doctors and nurses are insulted, abused and cursed by patients and their relatives in the hospital daily, in Accident and Emergency and on the wards.  Surely, doctors and nurses get tired and hungry too, they feel sick and they have personal problems and worries like the rest of us. Somebody, tell me if I am wrong.
