Sando needs that waterfront project

I give my fullest support to the San Fernando waterfront project as I believe it is a good plan that will benefit every single person in the southern city. When I attended the consultation on the project, I expected to hear a lot of talk but not see anything that was really important in my life.

However, when I realised that the plan would make King’s Wharf safer, bring opportunities for small businesses, make it easier for people to buy and sell fish and ease the traffic congestion, I realised that there was something in this for me.

San Fernando has been in need of development for a long time. There has been a lot of talk but no one has done anything about it. Finally, we can see a design, we have people telling us how the development would take place (in stages), and showing us how our wharf could become a world class family, business, tourist and culture destination. I cannot see how anyone could want to prevent this project from happening. We have to secure it.
