Break the chains

Many people are going to take a dim view of it, but I would like to congratulate Sugar Aloes. He is one of the PNM’s warriors having been their chief standard bearer for marginalising UNC supporters and denigrating all things anti-PNM for almost two decades.

His stomping ground at Skinner Park is known for slaughter of non-PNM politicians. By appearing on the Partnership’s rally, he is doing nothing different to Heeralal Rampartap and Adesh Samaroo who, out of thirst and hunger regularly appear on PNM platforms.

So I must congratulate Sugar Aloes. Under all his badness, he is a pretty good singer and it is good to see him free himself from the afrocentric PNM shackles. Now he can also appear on Maha Sabha platforms, COP platforms, Indian Arrival Day parades and the Divali Nagar. God bless this nation.
