Fulfil election promises, PM

Open letter to Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar: Hot on the heels of your “celebration,” I call on you to keep your promises made to get into office:Recall legislation, referendum legislation, term limits, fixed election date, local government reform, campaign finance reform and regulation. I need you to keep those promises, otherwise your whole celebration would have been a sham. I also call on you to remove Jack Warner from the Cabinet until he is cleared of all allegations of impropriety.

I request that the Point Fortin highway be stopped to allow for consultation with all stakeholders. I call for legislation to guarantee equality of rights and access to all our disabled brothers and sisters, state support for all homes for orphans and underprivileged children and a humane policy to deal with the growing issue of homelessness. Keep your promises, Madam PM, or there would be nothing for you or for us to celebrate.
