SIS gives children super Christmas in Couva

Super Industrial Services Ltd hosted its Children’s Christmas Treat at its auditorium in Couva recently.
This annual event has been held as a way of saying thanks to the families of employees as they treat their children to food, entertainment and lots of toys.
This year, the company hosted two Homes for Children; the Ezekiel Home for Abandoned Children and the Philips Children Home, in addition to a local Sunday school. Event planner, Ronald Ramlogan, explained that SIS places great emphasis on being a good corporate citizen. “Even though we are heavily involved in our community throughout the year, we always take this opportunity to bring as much joy and cheer to as many children as we can, especially those that are less fortunate,” he said.
“In addition to the treat, we plan to fill one of our trucks with toys and distribute them to the children in the area.”
Entertainment was provided by some of the children, with a short talent show, the highlight of which was a performance by Terrell Ramjit who danced to Michael Jackson’s Beat It and stole the show. There was also a mind-boggling showcase by Kes the Illusionist as he thrilled both young and old with his magic. Even Santa and his elves made an appearance which brought smiles and thunderous applause.
