Valentino takes Veterans kaiso crown

The People’s Calypsonian, Brother Valentino, is the 2011 Veterans Calypso Monarch. Valentino was adjudged winner of the competition, hosted by the National Action Cultural Committee on Monday night at the SWWTU Hall, Wrightson Road, Port-of-Spain.

The results are as follows:

2   Organiser—They Have It Easy: Trinbago Yankee

3   Funny—D Best Thing: Funny Win

4   Contender—Retirement: Yuh Cyar Buy One

5   Power—Island in the Sun: Trinidad Culture

6   Brother Mudada—For Yuh Country: No Use

7   Singing Francine—Nothing But the Truth: It’s A Shame

8   Versatile—World In Crisis: Shadow Reloaded

9   Explainer—My Advice: Tables Turning Sah

10 Poser—Is Not That: Sometime
