A 42-year-old female British national will appear before an Arima magistrate on Monday charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. A total of 337.9 grams of cocaine, estimated at $200,000, was seized by the police. Officers of the Organised Crime, Narcotics, Firearms and Bureau (OCNFB) held the suspect on Thursday around 7.15 pm. Police said the suspect, a babysitter, was held at the Piarco International Airport while attempting to board British Airways flight 2158 to Gatwick. Investigations are continuing.
