Police are investigating a report in which a nine year-old girl was reportedly sexually assaulted by a pensioner at his home in Pleasantville. According to reports, relatives of the child reported the matter to police officers at the San Fernando Police Station on Monday.

It is alleged that over the Easter holiday weekend, the child  went to the home of an 87-year-old man who took his hand and placed it inside her clothing and between her legs. Meanwhile, police were up to late yesterday, continuing their search for missing 15 year-old Siparia West Secondary student Felicia Lalman.

Lalman, of Legal Trace, Latchoos Road, Penal, was last seen around 7.45 am on Friday. The girl told her mother Michelle Lalman, 33, that she was off to her part–time job at Donut Boys on the SS Erin Road, Penal. However, she failed to return home after her shift and checks with relatives and friends proved futile. Anyone with information is asked to contact 647-1233/8884/8888.
