Four Diego Martin men will reappear in court this morning charged with raping a 14-year-old girl in February. Nicholas Henry, 21; Martin Anderson, 18; Chikezie Robertson, 18; and a 17-year-old appeared before Magistrate Melvin Daniel in the Fourth Port-of-Spain Magistrates’ Court yesterday. The four were not called upon to plead when the charge was read to them. It is alleged that on February 9, the four had sexual intercourse with the victim against her will at a house on Cuthbert Circular Road, Diego Martin.

During the bail application, the court heard Henry was an air-conditioning technician who lived with his mother; Robertson was attending UTT; and Anderson and the 17-year-old both attend Servol. Bail was later set at $90,000 for each accused after there were no objections. The accused also were ordered to stay away from the complainant.
