One man wounded after shooting incident
Police were up to late yesterday searching the mangrove in La Romaine after a shooting incident which left one man wounded Last night Michael Joachim, 53, a vendor of Bamboo Village, La Romaine was warded at the San Fernando General Hospital after being shot in the chest.
Police said Joachim was standing close to his fruit stall when a man a shot him. Another ran away. The injured man flagged down a police car and officers led by Cpl Roland Ramlogan, PC Noyan and Cpl Elvin mounted a search and caught one of the men. They other ran into the mangrove.
