The Government is moving to improve its communications strategy to ensure the public gets its message in a timely manner. This comes after parliamentary secretary in the Foreign Affairs and Communications Ministry Nicole Dyer-Griffith initiated what was called a “Commstrat” series of meetings for communications specialists within the Government Service.

A release from the Foreign Affairs and Communications Ministry said one of the issues discussed in previous meetings was the effective use of social media. Another session, led by the adviser to the Prime Minister on public engagements, Lisa Ghany, focused on event management.
