Teen beaten, robbed at cricket match
Police officers in Freeport were up to yesterday searching for a group of men who ambushed and robbed a 16-year-old student on Friday night at the Arena Cricket Ground, Longdenville. The victim, who attends the Cunupia Secondary School, was looking at a cricket match when he was beaten and robbed of a gold chain valued at $4,000. Constable Sampson of the Freeport Police Station is continuing the investigation.
