Eastern Football Association kicks off May 22

The Eastern Football Association 2011 season will kick off with a “Champions Big Four Challenge” at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya on May 22. The four clubs to contest the tournament will be EFA Premier Division winners, Real Maracas and runner-up Joe Public as well as the top two First Division clubs from last season in 1st FC Santa Rosa and Malabar FC.

The Big Cannons as Santa Rosa are known are already into their fourth week of pre-season training and have added new players to their roster, including several with EFA Premier League and international experience and will be going all out to make a bold statement in the opening tournanemt, according to club officials.
