Costaatt rips apart TTHTI in All Sectors Netball

It has been a harsh introduction for debutant T&T Hospitality and Tourism Institute (TTHTI) into the Courts All Sectors Netball League as it again suffered a massive defeat. This time it was against the College of Science Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (Costaatt), which stumped them, 63-7, in the Alternative Division. The match was the second of a double-header played on the night at the Eastern Regional Indoor Sports Arena in Tacarigua. In opening affair, Les Enfants spanked Harlem 40-14 in the Retro Division. Shooting for Costaatt were Ria Roach, who led with 36 goals from 50 attempts and Victoria St Louis. She produced 27 from 37. Costaatt was always in control, leading 12-2 in the first quarter, 32-4 at the half and 49-6 in the third session.
 
It was the second win for Costaatt in four matches after its opening victory over the University of Southern Caribbean (USC), 27-25. Last Thursday, Costaatt was narrowly beaten by UTT (28-27) and Police got the better of them, 46-18, two Mondays ago. One positive TTHTI can take from the match was that it was the most goals in a match, thus far, in its season.The TTHTI team will next be in action tomorrow when it meets the University of Southern Caribbean (USC). Joanne Payne starred for Les Enfants in their one-sided victory, scoring 31 off 45.
