Big-spending Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala is preparing a £5million bid for Stoke striker Kenwyne Jones. Jones has failed to make his mark since arriving at the Britannia Stadium from Sunderland in 2010 and boss Tony Pulis is ready to cash in. The 27-year-old has just 10 goals in 51 appearances and has slipped down the pecking order since Pulis signed Peter Crouch.

Former Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink is in charge of Anzhi and will make his move this summer. Pulis is also set to part company with forward Ricardo Fuller, who was sent off against Chelsea at the weekend, and defender Jonathan Woodgate. Both players are out of contract at the end of the season.
