Raging Halo for ‘Colt’ Memorial

The Sir Stables owned Raging Halo is my nap selection to win today’s feature event—the Eric ‘Colt’ Durant Memorial over 1,700 metres on the turf track at Santa Rosa Park, Arima. Raging Halo will continue to fine form of champion trainer John O’Brien whose Onetokeep took the second leg of local racing’s “Triple Crown” last Wednesday. Raging Halo is a resilient sort and loves the turf where he has won the honour of being the top turf horse for two years. The Dachin Racing Stables owned Rock Movistar must have an outstanding chance on his Graded success. With regular rider Jody Arneaud in the saddle, he is expected to go close. Last week’s impressive scorer Mobthe warrior and the Maniram Maharaj owned and trained First To Fly are others to note. The nine-race card begins at 12.25 pm.
