Tunapuna Presbyterian seems to be the team to beat in the Atlantic North Primary School Championships, as they hammered Belmont Primary by 214 runs as matches in the Zone continued. Batting first, Tunapuna Presbyterian made 236 for three wickets off 20 overs. Leading the way were extras with a total of 96. Also helping the cause were Jahmarie Samaroo 32, Simeon Mendoza 34 and Kishorn Baptiste 48 not out. When Belmont replied all they could muster was 22 all out. Turning in an amazing bowling performance was Man of the Match Baptiste. In four overs of total destruction, he grabbed six wickets for eight runs. Also bowling an excellent spell was Jahmario Samaroo who finished with four wickets for seven runs off three overs. In the South Championships there was no play, as the heavy rain washed out all the matches.
