U-20s meet Guyana in CFU opener
T&T Under-20 footballers will kick off their Caribbean Football Union Group Four qualifiers for the Concacaf Under-20 Championship Final against Guyana on August 8. The match between T&T’s young Soca Warriors and the Golden Jaguars will start at 5.30 pm and will be the first of a double-header at Victoria Park, Kingstown, St Vincent and the Grenadines. Two hours later in the night’s feature clash, the host battles Suriname. The T&T squad currently under training with head coach Michael Mc Commie will also face Suriname on August 10 (5.30 pm) and the host two days later from 7.30 pm. McComie and his staff, which includes Anthony Rougier, Clint Marcelle and Ross Russell, have a squad of 22 players in training. The team includes ex Under-17 captain Duane Muckette, Shackiel Henry, Xavier Rajpaul, Quesi Weston, Damani Richards and Marcus Gomez.
